Birth of the Universe

7:00 - 8:00 p.m. & 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Explore the origins of the cosmos dating back almost 14 billion years. In this live, interactive show, visitors will learn about the clues that astronomers use to understand the birth and transformation of the universe, including the motion of distant galaxies and radiation generated by the early universe.
The program will include an indoor stargazing session of the night sky followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Not recommended for children under 4. For questions about this event, please email planetarium@uwm.edu.
Please note that masks are currently required inside all University buildings, including the planetarium, regardless of vaccination status.
