Observe the Moon Night Planetarium Shows
Saturday, October 1, 2022
7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
It’s International Observe the Moon Night! Bring family and friends to learn about lunar exploration and celebrate personal and cultural connections to our closest celestial neighbor. Gaze at the crescent Moon through our telescopes in the Physics building courtyard and enjoy planetarium shows at 7:30 or 8:30 p.m. Gazing through telescopes is free; planetarium shows are $6 per person ($5 for students).
The planetarium program will include an indoor stargazing session of the night sky followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Not recommended for children under 4. For questions about this event, please email planetarium@uwm.edu.
Due to the confined space of the planetarium, we strongly recommend that our visitors wear masks when visiting the planetarium, regardless of vaccination status.
